Mick has been involved around the music scene in Ireland since the early 70's. He was a founder member of the cult folk-rock favourites TINGUMAJIG.
He has been constantly writing songs, stories, plays and performing solo and in groups since TINGUMAJIG disbanded.
Following a period away from performing, he released his debut solo album entitled "DENNIS REGAN" (named after a fictitious toothless, blind ballad singer who lived in Mick's imagination!!) in 2009 which sold well in Ireland and in the US.
His work speaks of love, beauty, everyday miracles, simplicity in life. He is constantly in rebellion against the forces that would complicate our lives for their own gain.
Most of all, Mick believes, we are always in need of a good oul sing-song.....
His second CD entitled DOWNTOWN STORIES sold well with a lot of radio play in Ireland and the UK. Buy it, turn it up and join in........

Mick's new work will be a departure for Mick from his folk roots with the addition of a full electric band. The same themes run through all of the new songs - simplicity of life, everyday miracles, growing up in Ireland, his home town of Cobh and it's characters.

The first single from Mick's latest work is CALVARY STREET released on Dec 9th 2011. It concerns the little miracles which escape us all.

Mick's newest song is TRUE VALENTINES, for true sweethearts everywhere, released on Feb 14th, 2012.
